Stage 3 cylinder heads consist of a fully CNC ported head.

Combustion chamber modifications include -  Unshrouding of intake and exhaust valves, blending the chamber surface into the entry angle of the valve seat and combustion chamber reshaping as necessary to promote more efficient combustion & flame travel.  Chamber volume can be tailored to to achieve your desired compression ratio.  Weather you are building a low compression forced induction motor or a high compression race engine, we can help.

Valve Job - Our precision multi-angle valve jobs blend the valve pocket into the combustion chamber. Valve seat widths and angle are set to individual application requirements.

Port modifications include - Full length intake & exhaust port modifications to achieve the ultimate in air flow at the minimum port volume to promote excellent midrange torque & drivability while still providing the necessary high RPM horsepower.

With additional concentration on mid-lift flow values, you are ensured a cylinder head that will produce a broad power curve.  Special porting for blower applications is also available to enhance flow characteristics on applications which utilize positive pressure in the intake port.
 
Do not be fooled by the competition claiming big flow numbers.  No one races flow benches!!!  The above items are just as important to power production as peak flow numbers.

 
Most "Stage 3" heads are available with 2 spring configurations:
1. Single springs & steel retainers for mild lift emissions type cams
2. Double springs & titanium retainers for high lift / high RPM usage

Custom ground camshafts derived from extensive dyno testing are available to help make the most of your engine.

Complimentary intake modifications are also available for the LT4.

LT1 Heads provide 40rwhp increase on a stock engine
LT1's have made over 450 crank hp with complementary emissions legal camshaft
LS1 / LS6 heads are now adding 37-42rwhp & 35ft/lb on stock engines
LS1's with heads/cam package are producing over 400RWHP
LS1 style aluminum heads for Vortec Chevy trucks also provide 27-30rwhp & 30ft/lb torque.
